  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 dash coconut milk, creamy
  • 3 tablespoon peanut oil
  • 2 teaspoons curry
  • Chili powder
  • a bit salt

Instructions

  1. Dice the onion and sauté in the peanut oil together with the pressed or chopped garlic, then add the lentils and deglaze with twice the amount of water.
  2. While the lentils are simmering, wash the tomatoes and also dice them. Keep an eye on the lentils and stir again and again when the mixture has become creamy, add the tomatoes and now season everything: add salt, chilli and curry powder and stir in the tomato paste. If you like - depending on how creamy you want it - add coconut milk. At the very end, add kidney beans.
  3. 100 g red lentils contain 26 g protein, which makes this dish the perfect companion for your fitness kitchen.
