Ingredients

  • 250 g mararine
  • 250 g flour
  • 200 g suar
  • 0.75 ¾ pack baking powder
  • 100 g chocolate (whole milk)
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 0.25 liter ¼ red wine (alternatively mulled wine)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 pck. White couverture
  • Fat for the shape

Instructions

  1. Dice the chocolate very small (the pieces should be quite small, otherwise they will sink down later in the cake).
  2. Mix the margarine with the sugar and eggs until frothy. Mix the flour with the baking powder, cocoa powder, salt and cinnamon. Pour under the margarine mixture. Stir in the red wine and finally the chocolate chips. Pour into a greased box or wreath form.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 1 hour. Let cool in the mold for about 10-15 minutes, then remove and let cool down further. After cooling, heat the couverture and brush the cake with it.
  4. Can also be prepared a day before consumption. Well packaged cake will keep for a few days.
