Instructions

  1. Whip soft butter with vanilla sugar, sugar and salt until creamy.
  2. Gradually add the eggs one by one and continue beating vigorously.
  3. Add the quark white spoon and keep beating.
  4. Add semolina, pudding powder or starch, baking powder and (butter) milk and keep beating until everything is well combined. Cover the bowl and let the dough soak for 30 minutes.
  5. After swelling, stir the dough again briefly.
  6. Heat some oil in a pan and add some batter in portions. (I took a large tablespoon and added several small portions to the pan)
  7. As soon as the upper side starts to bubble, turn the dough pieces and bake until golden brown.
  8. Please do not put the pan too hot, otherwise the dough line will burn.
  9. The quark semolina pancakes taste very good warm and cold with sugar and cinnamon or applesauce.
  10. If you don`t like it so sweet, you can also reduce the sugar content.
  11. If you like it lower in calories, you can omit the butter and optionally replace the sugar with sweetener!

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
