Ingredients

  • 1 kg ribs, thick
  • 125 g leek
  • 1 carrot (s)
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 4 tablespoon syrup (maple syrup)
  • 1 tablespoon margarine or butter
  • 1 teaspoon curry
  • 0.5 liter ½ vegetable stock, (instant)
  • pepper
  • salt
  • 40 grams flour
  • 4 tablespoon heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Divide the rib and rub well with salt, pepper and curry. Brush with approx. 4 tablespoon maple syrup. Fry vigorously in fat, deglaze with the stock. Add the chopped vegetables and stew for about 60 to 75 minutes. Then remove the meat and keep it warm. Strain the sauce through a sieve; Whisk the flour with 4 tablespoons each of water and cream, thicken the sauce. Season to taste with pepper, salt, curry and maple syrup.
  2. Boiled potatoes and Brussels sprouts go well with it.
