  • 1 medium cauliflower
  • 400 g meat sausae, without arlic
  • 500 ml hollandaise sauce, homemade or ready-made
  • 200 g Gouda cheese, rated
  • some breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Wash the cauliflower, cut into florets and cook in salted water until al dente. Cut the meat sausage into cubes, cook the rice until it is done. Grease a baking dish and distribute the cooked rice in the dish. Spread the meat sausage cubes and then the cauliflower florets on top. Pour the Dutch sauce over the whole thing. Spread the grated cheese on the cauliflower and sprinkle some breadcrumbs on top.
  2. Close the baking dish with a lid and bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° C top / bottom heat (180 ° C convection) for approx. 30 - 40 minutes. Remove the lid in the last 15 minutes. You can also prepare the casserole without a lid.
  3. Tip: Frozen food can also be used instead of fresh cauliflower. If you like more sauce, you can also use 750 ml Hollandaise sauce.
  4. This dish is also very popular with children.
