Ingredients

  • 200 g rice
  • Salt water or vegetable broth
  • 1 onion (s), finely chopped
  • some olive oil
  • 300 g tomato (s), peeled, diced
  • some garlic salt
  • some pepper
  • some basil
  • 250 g minced meat
  • some oil
  • some salt and pepper
  • some paprika powder
  • 75 g hard cheese, rated
  • 0.5 ½ cup sweet cream

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice as usual in salted water or vegetable stock. Meanwhile prepare the tomato sauce.
  2. Sweat the finely chopped onion in hot oil until translucent, add the chopped tomatoes (peel the tomatoes beforehand), simmer for about 20 minutes and season with the spices.
  3. Fry the minced meat in hot oil, add the tomato sauce, simmer for 5 minutes and season well. Mix the minced meat tomato sauce with the rice and pour everything into a greased baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the dish with cheese, pour the cream over it and bake in the preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 35 minutes.
