Ingredients

  • 1 liter milk
  • a bit salt
  • 80 g rice puddin
  • 1 packet custard powder, vanilla
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 egg whites
  • 6 tablespoon milk, cold

Instructions

  1. Bring the milk and salt to the boil, add the washed rice and let it soak for about 30 minutes over low heat.
  2. Whisk the custard powder, sugar and egg yolk with the cold milk (6 tablespoon). Stir in the whisked pudding powder under the cooked rice that has been removed from the hob and bring to the boil briefly. Fold the egg white, which has been beaten to stiff snow, into the still hot rice pudding and carefully pour it into a glass bowl. Place in the refrigerator to get cold.
