Rice with sausages and vegetables is a wonderful, hearty dish that vaguely resembles pilaf. It will help you out when you need to cook something quick, but tasty, for lunch or dinner.
Ingredients
Rice – 150 g
Hunting sausages – 100 g
Semi-smoked sausage – 70 g
Bulgarian pepper – 100 g (1 pcs.)
Tomato – 150 g (1 pcs.)
Carrots – 70 g
Yellow onions – 70 g
Red onion – 65 g
Garlic – 1 clove
Ground paprika – 0.5 teaspoon
Bay leaf – 1 pc.
Adjika dry – to taste
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper – to taste
Vegetable oil (for frying) – 1 tbsp
Directions
Prepare all the ingredients you need for cooking sausage and vegetable rice.
Pour water into a saucepan, salt, and bring to a boil. Rinse the rice and pour it into a saucepan. Cook the rice over medium heat for 15 minutes. Place the rice in a colander and rinse with cold water. Let the water drain completely.
Pour oil into a frying pan and put on medium heat. Cut the hunting sausages into rings, the sausage into pieces. Place in skillet and fry for 5 minutes, stirring.
Peel the red and yellow onions, rinse and chop finely. Add to sausages.
Peel the carrots, rinse, cut into small strips and send to the pan.
Wash the bell pepper, remove the stalk and seeds, cut into thin strips. Place the peppers in a skillet with sausage and vegetables.
Chopped garlic is also there.
Wash the tomato and cut into thin slices, put in the pan.
Salt and mix everything.
Add boiled rice to vegetables with sausages.
Sprinkle the rice with adjika and pepper.
Stir, pour in 200 ml of water and lay in the bay leaf.
Close the lid and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes. Then turn off the heat and leave the rice for another 15 minutes.
Rice with sausages and vegetables is ready. Arrange on bowls and serve.
