Rice With Vegetables

Aromatic side dish, rich taste. Ideal for dinner.

Ingredients

  • Rice – 150 g
  • Carrots – 1 small
  • Onion – 1 small
  • Bulgarian pepper – 1 small
  • Water – 300 ml
  • Fresh greens – to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Seasonings to taste
  • Vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Put a cauldron or stewpan to warm up with oil.

    Put chopped onions there.
  2. Meanwhile, cut the carrots into “half rings” and cut the pepper into small strips.
  3. When the onions are fried until golden brown, reduce heat, add vegetables.
  4. Then add rice and pour water over everything.
  5. Add salt, spices, herbs and simmer for 20 minutes until the rice is cooked.
