Ingredients

  • 250 g ricotta
  • 125 ml milk
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 20 g suar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar, if desired
  • 100 g flour
  • 2 egg whites, beaten until stiff

Instructions

  1. Mix the ricotta, milk, 2 egg yolks, sugar and vanilla sugar well. Beat the egg white until stiff and fold into the mixture with the flour. Add just enough flour that the dough cracks and bubbles easily.
  2. Fry the dough spoon by spoon in hot fat.
  3. Serve with maple syrup, jam as breakfast or with ice cream or fruit as dessert.
