Ingredients

  • 500g flour
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 15 g yeast, fresh
  • 200 ml water, lukewarm
  • 150 g ricotta
  • 1 egg (s)

For painting:

  • 1 egg (s)
  • 2 Table spoons milk
  • Sesame, poppy seeds or sunflower seeds to sprinkle

Instructions

  1. Put the flour in a bowl and make a well in the middle. Put salt, sugar, oil, yeast, water, ricotta and egg in the well and knead everything into a smooth dough. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  2. Remove small pieces of the dough, shape into a roll and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. When the whole dough is processed, whisk 1 egg with 2 tablespoons of milk and coat the rolls with it. Now sprinkle the rolls with poppy seeds, sesame seeds, etc. as desired. Let rise again for about 30 minutes.
  3. Bake in the oven preheated to 220 ° C for about 20 minutes, until the rolls are golden brown.
