Ingredients

  • 5 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 3 pinch (s) salt
  • some pepper
  • some nutmeg
  • some olive oil
  • 250 g riatoni or tortilioni
  • 100 g Edam cheese, rated or Emmentaler

Instructions

  1. Cook the rigatoni or tortiglioni in salted water according to the instructions on the packet.
  2. At the same time, dice the ham and fry it in a little olive oil. Add the cream and bring to the boil briefly. Then add the tomato paste to give the sauce a rosy color. Add more or less tomato paste depending on your taste and taste. Cook on the highest level and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Just before the pasta is ready, add the cheese, stir in the sauce and let it boil down. Now stir in the pasta.
  3. Of course, the dish can also be cooked with mushrooms. But since nobody in the family likes mushrooms, we do it without them.
