Ingredients

  • 250 g rocket
  • 250 g strawberries
  • some olive oil
  • 1 dash balsamic vinegar, white
  • 2 tablespoon acid, (pomegranate acid - you can get it in the Turkish supermarket
  • 1 handful sunflower seeds, alternatively pine nuts or pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon sunflower oil
  • Parmesan, to mix in or garnish
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Wash the rocket and strawberries as usual, whirl or pat dry with the salad spinner and then pluck or cut into the desired size. Mix in some Parmesan cheese to taste.
  2. Mix the olive oil with the white vinegar, pomegranate acid, salt and pepper to a slightly thick dressing and then pour over the rocket and strawberries.
  3. Now heat the sunflower seeds in a Teflon pan (add 1 tablespoon of sunflower oil) until they are roasted golden brown. Pour the roasted kernels over the salad and then garnish with wafer-thin strips of Parmesan cheese. Anyone who does not master the Jamie Oliver knife trick can also use a peeler.
