Ingredients

  • 3 rolls, fresh or from the day before

Instructions

  1. Cut deep into the rolls in a diamond shape, but do not cut through them. Cut the chives into small rolls, finely dice the shallots and garlic. Also cut the salami or the boiled ham into very small cubes. Finely grate the cheese.
  2. Mix the ingredients together and fill the cuts in the rolls with them. Bake in the oven at 160 ° C (fan oven) for about 25 minutes, until the rolls are crispy and the cheese has melted.
  3. This time I took Gouda and Salami because I still had leftovers of both in the fridge. But you can use any firm cheese to your own taste.
  4. The salami can also be exchanged for boiled ham, krakauer, ham cubes, etc.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
