Ingredients

  • 500 g rose hips
  • 500 g apples
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 1 star anise
  • 2 carnation (s)
  • 5 dashes lemon juice
  • 1 liter water
  • 1 bag / s preserving sugar, 3:

Instructions

  1. Remove the stem, flower and seeds from the rose hips. Quarter the apples and remove the core.
  2. Put the fruits with the spices, lemon juice and water in a saucepan and let boil for about 5 minutes. Then drain everything in a sieve and collect the juice.
  3. Fill up the juice to a generous 1250 ml with water, place in a saucepan and boil with the preserving sugar for three minutes.
  4. Pour jelly into glasses while still hot and allow to cool.
