Ingredients

  • 50 g rosemary needles, fresh
  • 600 ml water
  • 1 large organic lemon (s)
  • 250 grams sugar
Rosemary Syrup
Rosemary Syrup

Instructions

  1. Wash the rosemary needles and drain well. Cut the lemon into slices.
  2. Simmer both in 600 ml water over medium to low heat for 20 minutes. Then drain through a sieve.
  3. Now add the sugar to the rosemary water and simmer for another 30 minutes, move the lid a little in the last 10 minutes so that the syrup can reduce a little.
  4. Fill the syrup into sterilized jars or bottles while it is still hot.
  5. You can mix the syrup with mineral water or sparkling wine or with gin. I like a mixture of 2 cl syrup, 2 cl gin and a shot of tonic water best.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
