Ingredients

  • 500 g cheese, (Gouda)
  • 5 cloves garlic, to taste
  • 400 g mayonnaise, at least 80%
  • 1 bunch dill
  • Pepper, black
  • croutons

Instructions

  1. Grate cheese, press garlic.
  2. Mix the mayonnaise, garlic and pepper, then fold into the cheese.
  3. The mass must not become too creamy, consistency smearable.
  4. Transfer to a shallow bowl and cover with plenty of chopped dill.
  5. Let it steep for a day. Salting is not necessary.
  6. Serve with croutinos as desired, with fresh baguette or as a side dish to vodka evenings.
  7. Important: The quality rises or falls with the Majo variety, so it`s best to make homemade.
