Ingredients

  • 1 kg potato (s)
  • Salt water
  • 300 g meat sausae
  • 1 jar mayonnaise, Russian (Provansal)
  • some cucumber liquid
  • 90 g herkins with chilli
  • 5 egg (s), hard-boiled
  • 1 can peas, boy
  • 1 onion (s)
  • salt and pepper
  • Herbs (8-herb mix, frozen)

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes with their skin in salted water until they are firm to the bite, drain and peel while they are hot, then the skin comes off more easily. Let the potatoes cool down and mix the sauce in the meantime.
  2. To do this, mix a glass of lettuce mayonnaise with a little cucumber water and an 8-herb mixture. Finely dice the onion and add to the mayonnaise. Season everything with salt and pepper.
  3. Cut the gherkins, eggs and sausage into small cubes and place in a bowl with the drained peas. Cut the cold potatoes into cubes or slices and add them.
  4. Mix all ingredients together and chill. Maybe add some mayonnaise after brewing if it is too dry.
  5. Tip: The chilli gherkins can also be replaced by normal herb gherkins, so the potato salad is not quite as spicy.
