Rustic Potatoes in the Microwave

Delicious and aromatic country-style potatoes can be cooked in the microwave in just 20 minutes. It is simple to prepare, and potatoes in fragrant oil with paprika are simply delicious – a golden-brown crust, rich taste, and wonderful aroma. Finally, add garlic to the rustic potatoes to make the taste of the dish even more expressive.

Ingredients

Potatoes – 600 g (7 pcs.)
Ground paprika – 10 g (about 2 teaspoon)
Salt – 0.6667 teaspoon
Ground black pepper – a pinch (to taste)
Garlic – 3-4 cloves
Vegetable oil – 25 ml
Water (warm) – 80 ml

For the filling (optional):

Fresh herbs (parsley + dill) – 10 g (3-4 sprigs)
Sour cream – to taste

Instructions

Essential products.
Wash the potatoes well with the hard side of the dish sponge. If necessary, we cut off all darkening and black points. Without peeling, cut the potatoes into slices. If the potatoes are too long, first cut the potatoes in half and then cut them into slices.
We send the potatoes to a bowl, add salt and ground pepper.
Add paprika and vegetable oil.
Mix everything well so that the potatoes are covered with oil and spices on all sides.
We put the potatoes in a microwave oven.
We pour in warm water. Thanks to the liquid, the potatoes will steam well and become soft.
Cover the dishes with a special microwave lid or a plate without a pattern. We place the dishes in the microwave and cook at 800 W for 10 minutes. After the specified time, we take out the form, check the readiness of the potatoes. If necessary, send it to the microwave for another 3-5 minutes.
We take out the dishes with ready-made potatoes from the microwave, open the lid.
Peel the garlic and pass it through a press into a container with potatoes.
Mix everything carefully.
Rustic potatoes cooked in the microwave are ready. Place the potatoes on portioned plates, sprinkle with chopped herbs, and serve. These potatoes are very good to serve with sour cream.
