Rye bread croutons with garlic are especially good with red borscht, and a nice thing for a beer snack. Rye bread croutons are served with tin bread.
Ingredients
Rye bread – 0.5 pcs. (taste)
Vegetable oil – 30-40 g (how much will it take)
Garlic – 2-4 cloves (to taste)
Salt – 1 pinch (to taste)
Directions
Turn on the oven.
Cut off the crust from the bread.
Cut the bread into slices.
Cut the bread slices in half.
Peel the garlic and crush it in a mortar and salt (or crush it in a garlic bowl).
Pour vegetable oil into a plate. Keep slices of bread in vegetable oil for several minutes (1-2 minutes).
Then rub them with crushed garlic and salt.
Put the prepared croutons on a baking sheet. Place the baking sheet in the oven on the middle shelf. Bake in a hot oven at 180 degrees until crisp (about 10 minutes).
