  • 1 kg potato (s)
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 75 g bacon, throuh
  • some oil
  • 4 herring fillet (s)
  • 1 bunch dill
  • some salt and pepper
  • 1 cup sweet cream

Instructions

  1. Cut the cooked, peeled potatoes into slices. Finely dice the onion and bacon, sauté in hot oil until translucent.
  2. Grease a baking dish, layer half of the potatoes, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place part of the onion and bacon mixture on top and cover this with the herring fillets cut into small strips. Spread the finely chopped dill and the remaining onion and bacon mixture on top. Cover with potato slices, season well and pour the cream on top.
  3. Put the sailor potatoes in the cold oven and bake at 200 degrees for about 45 minutes.
