Ingredients

  • 1 cup yogurt, Greek (0%)
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 3 tablespoon sour cream
  • 4 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon mustard, medium hot or hot
  • 2 tablespoon vinegar, light, possibly white balsamic vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tablespoon dill, freshly chopped or frozen
  • Milk as needed
  • salt
  • Pepper, black
  • sugar
  • Lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Since I couldn`t find a recipe for the Sylt salad dressing, I mixed it myself and the result is very similar to the original.
  2. Cut the onion as small as possible, press through the garlic and mix both with yoghurt, mustard, sour cream, olive oil, vinegar and dill and whip the sauce well. If the sauce is too thick, dilute with milk as required. Season to taste with salt, pepper, sugar and lemon juice.
