Tostados are tortillas, only they are fried so that they are crispy. Ceviche is one of the most popular dishes not only in Mexico but throughout Latin America. It is believed that this method of cooking fish came from the Incas.
Ingredients
Vegetable oil – 1 – 2 tablespoons
Tortillas – 6 pieces
Salmon – 600 grams (fresh)
Lime juice – 1/2 cup
Orange juice – 1/2 cup
Chili pepper – 1 piece
Red onion – 1 piece (medium)
Cilantro – 2 tablespoons (finely chopped)
Directions
Take a frying pan, pour vegetable oil into it, and put it on fire. In hot oil, fry the tortillas on both sides until golden brown, then spread paper towels and lay the prepared cakes on them so that the towels absorb all the excess oil.
Wash the salmon fillets, then cut them into small cubes. Take a deep-bottomed bowl, place the sliced salmon in it, then sprinkle it with lime juice and orange juice, cover the bowl with something, and put it in a cool place for about 2 hours to marinate
Wash the chili peppers, then remove all the seeds from them and cut them into small pieces. Peel the onion, then cut it into thin rings.
Take a clean bowl and put the chopped peppers and onions in it, then put the marinated salmon fillet and mix everything thoroughly.
Take the prepared tortilla, then put the salmon fillet with vegetables in it, then sprinkle with chopped cilantro (do the same with the rest of the tortillas) and serve the finished dish to the table.
