Samsa Round

As you know, Samsa can be completely different both in taste and in its shape. I want to tell you how to cook round Samsa with beef and pork filling. Excellent homemade baked goods! Try it!

Cook: 1 hour 20 mins

Servings: 10-12

Ingredients

  • Beef and Pork – 1 Kilogram (Chopped Meat Mix)
  • Onions – 4 Pieces
  • Zira – To taste
  • Salt and Pepper – To taste
  • Water – 300 Milliliters
  • Flour – 3 Glasses
  • Egg – 1 Piece
  • Olive oil – 1

Directions

  1. Prepare the meat: cut the beef and pork into small pieces. Peel the onion.
  2. Pour water into a deep container, add the egg and flour. We also add olive oil and salt.
  3. Mix thoroughly.
  4. We knead the dough. We wrap it in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  5. Chop the onion. Mix it with meat, adding cumin, salt and pepper.
  6. Divide the dough into small pieces.
  7. Roll each piece into a cake. We spread the filling.
  8. We collect the dough with the edges to the top, as in the photo. We pinch the edges.
  9. We fill the edges in the middle to make a round samsa.
  10. Dip each samsa in vegetable oil and put on a baking sheet, seam down. We bake for 40 minutes, temperature 180 degrees.
