Samsa with Melted Cheese

by Editorial Staff

Samsa is a pastry that has long been loved by many. We offer to bake samsa with melted cheese from ready-made puff pastry.

Ingredients

  • Yeast-free puff pastry – 500 g
  • Processed cheese – 180-200 g
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Sesame – 1.5 tbsp
  • Flour – 1 tbsp

Directions

  1. We prepare the products necessary for samsa for further work. The baking dough should be thawed at room temperature.
  2. For the filling, we just need to grate the processed cheese.
  3. Roll the dough into a thin layer on a floured surface.
  4. Using a saucer (or other convenient small flat plate), cut out the base circles for the samsa. From 500 g, 10 pieces should be obtained (using the remains of the dough).
  5. Place the grated processed cheese in the center of each puff base.
  6. Now the edges of the puff base need to be pinned so that a triangle is formed.
  7. Put the samsa with melted cheese on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
  8. Grease the surface of each triangular pie with a pre-beaten egg.
  9. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  10. We bake in an oven preheated to 180 ° C for about 25 minutes
