Samsa with Potatoes

There are many fillings for samsa. After all, in fact, this is a pie that is made from unleavened or puff pastry. This dish is popular in many countries, where everyone can make it in their own way.

Ingredients

  • Puff pastry – 500 grams (yeast-free)
  • Potatoes – 4 Pieces
  • Egg – 1 Piece
  • Sesame – 2 Tbsp. spoons
  • Green Onions – 1 Bunch
  • Garlic – 2 Cloves
  • Salt – To taste
  • Spices – To taste

Directions

  1. Defrost the dough at room temperature beforehand.
  2. Wash, peel and cut the potatoes into small cubes.
  3. Wash green onions, dry and chop finely. Add it to potatoes. Add spices and salt to taste.
  4. Chop the garlic, add it to the filling. Mix well.
  5. Divide the dough into squares, each of which is rolled into a layer.
  6. Place the filling in the center. Wrap the product with the larger ends in the center and the others. Close up everything properly so that the filling does not get out during the baking process.
  7. Transfer the pastry, seam side down, onto the parchment paper on the baking sheet. Brush them with an egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  8. Bake samsa at 180 degrees dry for 30 minutes.
