Sandwich ”Dragon”

by Editorial Staff

A ham sandwich can turn into such a funny fairy dragon. Of course, not by magic … But before the New Year, after all, anything can happen. Including New Year's sandwiches. And before the New Year of the Dragon, such a New Year's snack may well appear.

Directions

  1. Cut the bun horizontally into three parts.
  2. Cut a groove in the upper part. From the middle part of the bun, cut out the "tail" of the dragon and, if desired, the "wings".
  3. Spread the bottom with mayonnaise or butter.
  4. Lay a leaf of lettuce on top.
  5. Then two slices of ham.

  7. Put olives ("heads") on straws ("necks") and insert them into the "torso".

  8. Cut the corn kernels ("eyes") in half lengthwise and gently attach to the olives with mayonnaise. "Pupils" are best made from red and black eggs, but you can use small pieces of black olives (attach with mayonnaise) or whatever your fantasy tells you.
Insert a "scallop" - a leaf of parsley and a "tongue" - a stalk of parsley into the holes from the pits of the olives.
Cut paws out of a slice of cheese, insert them between the top and bottom of the bun.
  9. The dragon can be left without wings. But it will be prettier if you insert "wings" into the "torso" (just like the "tail").
