Recipe for a delicious sandwich with beef, mushrooms and tomato sauce. The meat sandwich is a great hearty snack.
Ingredients
Hamburger buns or ciabatta portioned – 12 pcs.
Beef brisket – 1.3 kg
Champignon mushrooms – 100-150 g
Canned tomatoes, in their own juice – 400 g
Bulb onions – 1 pc.
Garlic – 2 cloves
Tomato paste – 85 g
Dry red wine – 0.25 cups
Worcestershire sauce – 1.5 teaspoon
Seasoning “Italian herbs” – 1 teaspoon
Salt – 0.5 teaspoon
Ground black pepper – 0.25 teaspoon
Parmesan cheese – to taste
Directions
Cut the champignons into slices. Finely chop the onion, chop the garlic. Cut off fat from meat. Cut the meat into pieces if necessary.
Put mushrooms, onions, garlic in a slow cooker bowl. Place the meat on top.
For the sauce, combine tomatoes, tomato paste, wine, Worcestershire sauce, Italian herbs, salt and pepper. Pour the sauce over the meat. Refrigerate for 12 hours.
Place the bowl in the slow cooker. Close and cook on low power for 9-10 hours (until the meat is tender). Take out the meat. Remove the fat from the sauce.
If the sauce is too runny, boil it for 5-10 minutes, until it thickens.
Grind the meat. Add some sauce to the meat.
Grate the cheese. Cut the buns. Put the meat with mushrooms on the bottom half. Drizzle with sauce and sprinkle with cheese. Cover with the top half of the bun.
A sandwich with beef and mushrooms is ready. Bon Appetit!
