Sandwiches for the Festive Table (with Mushrooms and Cheese)

Sometimes it becomes necessary to prepare a dish that is tasty, quick, and so that all the ingredients can be found in the refrigerator. Sandwiches are just one of this culinary category. For example, hearty, mouth-watering, slightly spicy sandwiches with fried champignons.

Ingredients

  • Sliced ​​loaf – 12 slices
  • Champignon mushrooms (frozen) – 300 g
  • Hard cheese – 150-200 g
  • Bulb onions – 2 pcs.
  • Garlic (large) – 1 tooth.
  • Chili pepper, red, fresh, medium size – 0.5 pods
  • Green onions – 3-4 pcs.
  • Vegetable oil – 4 tablespoons
  • Salt – a pinch

How to make sandwiches for a festive table (with mushrooms and cheese):

Directions

  1. Peel the onion and hot pepper. Grind them with a sharp knife.
  2. We have already warmed up the oil in the pan. First, put onion and pepper and fry them a little (3-4 minutes). Next, add frozen mushrooms (without defrosting them) and sauté until fully cooked. This will take about ten to fifteen minutes.
  3. Throw the finished onion-mushroom mixture in a colander – let the excess oil drain. Then put in a separate bowl. Add a large clove of garlic (already peeled). Let’s salt.
  4. Put the immersion blender in a bowl and grind the entire contents in half a minute.
  5. The result is a mushroom paste.
  6. We will generously spread it on each piece of loaf.
  7. Grate the cheese. In this case, the middle grater blade is fine.
  8. Sprinkle each piece of cheese on top of the mushroom paste. Put the future sandwiches on a baking sheet and place in a preheated oven. Our goal is to completely melt the cheese. Therefore, it will take very little time (5-10 minutes).
  9. Put the finished sandwiches with mushrooms and cheese on a dish and sprinkle with chopped herbs on top.
