You can even whip up a snack with a twist! Hearty sandwiches spread with fried mushrooms, onions, hard cheese, pickles, and mayonnaise are a great example of this. The products are familiar, but their combination turns out to be so piquant and self-sufficient that even seasonings are not needed. Onions will add spice to the appetizer, cucumbers – salinity, and mushrooms, mayonnaise and cheese – juiciness and mouth-watering taste. Try it!
Cook: 15 minutes
Servings: 2
Ingredients
White toast bread – 170-200 g
Champignon mushrooms – 200 g
Hard cheese – 70 g
Onions – 100 g
Pickled cucumbers – 150 g
Mayonnaise – 80 g
Vegetable oil (for frying) – 1 tbsp
For decoration (optional):
Lettuce leaves – 3 pcs.
Green onion – 1 feather
Directions
Cut the mushrooms, onions, and pickles into small cubes. Grate the cheese on a fine grater.
Heat a skillet with vegetable oil over medium heat. Put the champignons and, stirring, fry for 7-8 minutes until tender and golden brown. If desired, onions can also be fried. In this case, first, fry the onions for 5-6 minutes, and then add the mushrooms and fry everything together until the mushrooms are ready.
Transfer the sautéed champignons to a bowl. Add onions, grated cheese, pickles, and mayonnaise.
Mix everything well. If desired, the mixture can be seasoned with salt and pepper to taste, but this is generally not necessary.
Cut the bread slices diagonally to form triangles. The bread can be lightly fried in a skillet.
Place a serving of the mushroom mixture on each slice of bread.
Garnish with lettuce leaves if desired. Transfer the sandwiches to a plate, garnish with chopped green onions and serve.
Enjoy your meal!
