Sandwiches With Cottage Cheese and Raisins (In a Pan)

by Editorial Staff

The sweet cottage cheese and raisin sandwiches taste very similar to the simplified version of the cottage cheese cheesecakes. Delicate loaf in an egg-milk layer and cottage cheese filling – such lazy cheesecakes are prepared from very budget products and it is very difficult to resist them!

Ingredients

  • White bread – 150 g (6 slices)
  • Cottage cheese – 200 g
  • Milk – 100 ml
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Raisins – 40-50 g
  • Sugar – 2 tbsp
  • Vanilla sugar – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Butter (for frying) – 2 tbsp

Direction

  1. Bread for such sandwiches is suitable not only fresh, but also yesterday’s.
  2. If the bread is a whole slice, cut it into slices about 0.5-1 cm thick.
  3. Combine cottage cheese and 1 egg in a deep bowl.
  4. Add sugar and vanilla sugar.
  5. Grind the mass thoroughly with a blender or fork, rubbing lumps of cottage cheese.
  6. Rinse the raisins and pat dry with a paper towel. Add the raisins to the curd mass and stir. The curd filling with raisins is ready.
  7. Brush one side of the loaf slice with the curd filling.
  8. Cover with a second slice of loaf to make a sandwich.
Collect the other two sandwiches in the same way.
  9. Combine milk and remaining egg in a separate bowl.
  10. Shake the ice with a fork or whisk.
  11. Heat the butter in a skillet over low heat. Dip the sandwiches gently into the ice on both sides.
  12. Place the sandwiches in the skillet. Increase heat to medium.
  13. Fry the sandwiches on both sides for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  14. Serve the lazy pan-fried cheesecakes with curd and raisins to the table.

Bon Appetit!
