The recipe for delicious and original, but at the same time very simple sandwiches for the festive table. Sandwiches with feta cheese, crab sticks, and olives will not only decorate your table but also become a great snack before the main meal!
Cook: 15 minute
Servings: 7
Ingredients
White loaf – 7 slices
Feta cheese – 60 g
Crab sticks – 4 pcs.
Pitted olives – 7 pcs.
Fresh parsley – a few twigs
Ground black pepper – 2 pinches
Garlic – 1 clove
Directions
Remove the feta cheese from the brine and cut into small cubes.
Transfer the feta to a bowl and mash with a fork.
Peel half of the crab sticks from the packaging, chop and add to the cheese.
Also chop the pitted olives finely, leaving 2 pieces. for decoration. Add olives to the crab cheese.
Rinse the parsley, leave a few leaves (according to the number of sandwiches) for decoration, and finely chop the rest of the greens and add to the previously combined ingredients. Also, add black pepper. I don’t add salt to the spread, since the feta cheese is already quite salty.
Stir the spreading ingredients.
In a dry skillet, dry the loaf slices on one side.
Transfer the toasted loaf pieces to a plate and rub the browned side with garlic.
Then cover the pieces of the loaf with the cooked spread of crab sticks, cheese, and olives.
For garnish, cut the remaining crab sticks into thin slices. Cut the olives into rings.
Garnish the sandwiches with chopped crab sticks, olives, and parsley leaves.
