Sandwiches with Radish and Parsley

by Editorial Staff

Serve these dainty sandwiches with gourmet white tea (by the way, the healthiest of all varieties) – they will highlight its delicacy. We are used to eating sweets with tea, but here – radishes … That is the interest. You can add even more flair by giving the sandwiches a quirky shape.

Cook: 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • Unsalted butter, softened – 4 tbsp
  • Lemon zest, grated – ½ teaspoon.
  • Fresh lemon juice – 1 teaspoon.
  • Salt
  • White bread, no crust – 7 slices
  • Parsley greens – ½ cup
  • Radish, thinly sliced with a shredder – 200 g

Directions

  1. Combine soft butter with lemon zest and lemon juice. Salt.
  2. Brush the bread with lemon oil.
  3. Cut 16 circles from 4 slices of bread with a round baking pan (3.5-4 cm in diameter).
  4. Cut the rest into rectangles (or as your fantasy tells you).
  5. Arrange the parsley leaves and radish slices. Serve immediately (you can cover with foil – the sandwiches will “wait” up to 2 hours).

Bon Appetit!
