Simple quick sandwich recipes always get attention. These sandwiches with sardines and fresh vegetables are no exception! The sandwiches are very colorful and delicious. A great option for a hearty snack!

Ingredients
Canned sardines – 1 can (240 g)
White (or rye) bread – 120 g (6 slices)
Mayonnaise – 50 g
Horseradish – 1-2 teaspoon (to taste)
Red onion – 1 pc. (60 g)
Cucumber – 1 pc. (130 g)
Cherry tomatoes – 2-3 pcs. (100 g)
Fresh dill (optional) – 2 branches
Directions
Combine mayonnaise with horseradish in a small container. Stir well
Peel the onion and cut it into rings. Cut the cucumber into thin slices.
Cut the bread into slices about 1 cm thick. I made 6 slices. Brush each slice of bread with a mixture of horseradish mayonnaise (about 1 teaspoon for each slice).
Place 2 cucumber and 1 onion circles on each slice of bread.
Empty the sardine jar. Carefully remove the sardines from the jar. Place 2-3 pieces of canned fish on top of each sandwich.
Cut the cherry tomatoes into thin slices and decorate each sandwich. Add a small sprig of dill or parsley if desired.
