Sandwiches are a great option for a quick snack. You can cook them with a variety of products, each time getting a new taste and a new dish. I really like sandwiches with lightly salted sprat and boiled egg. They are a good snack if you need to figure something out quickly when guests arrive.
Cook: 30 minutes
Servings: 6
Ingredients
Borodinsky bread – 3 pieces
Eggs – 2 pcs.
Lightly salted sprat – 100 g
Green onion – 2 feathers
Olive oil – 2 teaspoon
Directions
Fill the eggs with water and cook for 9-10 minutes after boiling the water. Cool the boiled eggs.
Wash green onion feathers and chop finely.
We clean the sprat from the entrails and remove the heads. Then carefully divide the carcass into two fillets, tearing them off the spine.
Put the sprat fillet in a bowl and fill it with olive oil. Stir to coat the fish evenly with oil.
Peel the boiled eggs and cut them as small as possible. You can also chop with a fork.
Cut large pieces of Borodino bread in half and dry in a preheated dry frying pan on both sides.
On each piece of bread, we put several sprat fillets in oil. Put chopped eggs on the sprat and sprinkle with green onions on top.
We spread the sprat and egg sandwiches on a large plate or platter and serve. I really like these sandwiches with a cup of sweet tea or coffee. In addition, they are perfect as an appetizer to a festive table or as a simple snack. There are a lot of variations in serving such sandwiches. I highly recommend it!
