Ingredients

  • 2 spring onion (s)
  • 2 apples
  • 400 g sauerkraut
  • salt and pepper
  • some sugar
  • 2 redfish fillet (s)
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 150 g sour cream
  • 50 g cheese (Gouda), rated
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Fat for the shape

Instructions

  1. Clean the spring onions and cut into rings. Quarter and core the apples and cut into wedges.
  2. Mix the sauerkraut, apples, half of the spring onions and the bay leaf. Season with salt, pepper and sugar and pour into a greased baking dish. Cut the fish into wide strips and place on top of the sauerkraut. Mix the egg yolks with the sour cream and the grated cheese and pour over the fish.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 220 ° C for approx. 20 minutes. Then sprinkle with the remaining onion rings and serve.
  4. This goes best with mashed potatoes.
  5. Tip: You can also use turkey escalope instead of fish.
