Instructions

  1. Cut the sausage into fine strips (mortadella is also possible). Wash the peppers and cut them into fine strips. Drain the gherkins but collect the brew. Cut the gherkins into small pieces. Dice the onion. First cut the mountain cheese into large slices, then into strips. Amount to taste.
  2. When all the ingredients are cut into small pieces, season the salad with salt, pepper, gherkin stock, vinegar and oil. Let it steep and season again before serving.
  3. PS: If you don`t like mountain cheese, you can also use other cheese for it. But you should make sure that it is a firm cheese, because the broth makes some cheese quickly soft in the salad.

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
