Ingredients

  • 750 g sausae, (huntin sausae in one piece)
  • 2 glasses Letscho
  • 1 glass pickled cucumber (s)
  • 2 cups cream
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 red pepper (s)
  • 1 yellow pepper (s)
  • 1 green pepper (s)
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 1 chilli pepper (s), dried
  • 400 ml ketchup
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon, heaped marjoram
  • some broth, instant powder
  • some oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Cut the hunting sausage, paprika, cucumber and onion into cubes (the onion into smaller cubes, of course).
  2. Heat the oil in a large saucepan. Add the hunting sausage and fry until it is slightly brown. Add onions and fry for about two minutes. VERY IMPORTANT: stir very often. Add paprika and cucumber cubes and let simmer with the lid closed and low heat for about 15-20 minutes. Stir often again, otherwise there is a risk that everything will burn.
  3. Now stir in the letscho, ketchup, cream and sour cream. Mix properly. Now add the desired amount of chilli. Bring to the boil and then add enough water to achieve the desired consistency of the soup. Now season with stock powder, marjoram and salt. Let the whole thing simmer over a low heat for about 45-60 minutes. Stir every now and then.
