Ingredients

  • 1 savoy cabbage
  • 1 cup cream
  • 0.5 slice ½ (s) bacon mixed with it
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Cut the savoy cabbage into strips and dice the bacon. Leave out the bacon and briefly blanch the savoy cabbage in salted water. Briefly quench the savoy cabbage in ice water.
  2. Bring the cream to the boil, season, add the savoy cabbage and bacon and boil down for a few minutes. Season again to taste.
  3. Delicious accompaniment to boiled potatoes and roast pork.
  4. If you add seared pork strips and spaetzle or noodles, the whole thing also makes a delicious main course!
