Ingredients

  • 1 head savoy cabbage, approx. kg
  • 1 large onion (s)
  • 250 g penne
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 can tomato (s), chunky, 400 g
  • 250 ml vegetable stock
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg, freshly grated
  • 1 teaspoon caraway powder
  • 1 dash lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Boil the penne in salted water.
  2. In the meantime, fry the minced meat in a large saucepan until crumbly. Dice the onions and add them. Cut the savoy cabbage into strips and add to the saucepan. Sweat briefly, then deglaze with tomatoes and stock. Stir in the processed cheese and steam everything until the savoy cabbage is cooked through. Season to taste with the spices and lemon juice. Finally fold in the pasta.
