Instructions

  1. Make a crumble dough from the dough ingredients. Grease a springform pan (24 cm diameter) and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Pour ¾ of the dough into the springform pan and distribute it evenly, forming an edge of approx. 3 cm.
  2. Prepare a vanilla pudding from milk, pudding powder and 2 tablespoons of sugar, let it cool down a little and then spread it on the dough. Peel the apples, remove the core and cut the apples into wedges. Lay out nicely on the pudding layer, then add the remaining dough as a sprinkle on top.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 165 degrees for 55 - 60 minutes. Then let cool in the springform pan.
  4. Melt the butter, add the walnuts, caramelize with 2 tablespoons of sugar and finally add the honey. Spread the lightly roasted caramelized nuts on the finished cake.
  5. This apple pie is easy to prepare, the filling makes it nice and juicy and it still tastes good the next day!
