  • 4 hard-boiled eggs
  • 250 g sausage meat (or seasoned minced meat)
  • a pinch of grated nutmeg
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 egg, separated
  • 75 g plus 2 tbsp breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Peel the hard-boiled eggs. Peel and finely grate the onion.
  2. Mix well the sausage meat with the egg yolk, the grated onion, the 2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs and the nutmeg, then divide into 4 portions.
  3. Wrap the cooked eggs all around with the meat mixture. Whisk the egg whites. First bathe the wrapped eggs in the egg white, then turn them in the breadcrumbs.
  4. Stabilize the eggs with 2 toothpicks each (then they will not roll away) and place on a greased baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven at 190 ° C (top and bottom heat) for around 30 minutes until they are lightly browned.
