An original breakfast made from simple products – cute scrambled eggs – “flower”. Such delicious scrambled eggs and fried potatoes are not difficult to prepare, they look very unusual and will cheer you up even on the gloomiest morning!
Cook: 25 mins
Servings: 2
Ingredients
Eggs – 2 pcs.
Potatoes – 90 g (1 pcs.)
Vegetable oil – 1 tbsp
Butter – 15 g (1 tbsp)
Salt to taste
Directions
Such unusual scrambled eggs and potatoes cook quickly enough, so it is better to turn on the oven in advance to warm up to a temperature of 180 degrees.
Peel, wash, and cut the potatoes into thin slices
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Arrange the potato slices in one layer and fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until light golden brown. Then add salt to the fried potatoes.
Place one round of fried potatoes at the bottom of the cocotte makers (or muffin tins). Spread the rest of the potatoes gently over the walls so that you get a “flower”.
Put a piece of butter on the bottom of each “flower”. Carefully break an egg into each mold. Salt. If you are using muffin tins, break the eggs a little first and separate the whites from the yolks. Pour the required amount of protein into the molds, and then carefully put the yolk into each cell. So the excess egg white will not leak out and the potato “petals” will be clearly visible.
Place the eggs and potatoes in a preheated 180-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes, until the yolks are ready. During this time, the yolks remained liquid.
Serve cooked eggs and potatoes to the table. Enjoy your meal!
