Scrambled Eggs with Cheese in Bread

Surprise with a homemade quirky breakfast by preparing spectacular scrambled eggs and cheese fried in baguette slices. It only takes four ingredients and 15 minutes of time – simple, original, and delicious! Try it!

Ingredients

  • Eggs – 3 pcs.
  • Baguette – 80 g (15-18 cm)
  • Hard cheese – 30 g
  • Butter – 30 g
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Eggs are best chosen small in size so that the entire white-brown fits inside the baguette pieces.
  2. Cut the baguette into pieces about 5-6 cm long. Remove the crumb, leaving only a thin layer inside the bread crust to better keep the pieces intact. Grate the cheese on a fine grater.
  3. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium-to-medium heat. Pieces of baguette are placed vertically in the pan.
  4. Break one egg into each piece of baguette and sprinkle with a small pinch of salt.
  5. Fry the eggs in the bread for about 3-4 minutes on each side. Turns the eggs in the bread carefully so that the half-set egg inside the baguette pieces does not accidentally leak into the pan.
  6. After turning off the heat, sprinkle each piece of baguette with grated cheese. Leave the baguette with scrambled eggs in the skillet for about 30 seconds to melt the cheese slightly under the residual heat. Then press the scrambled eggs in bread onto a plate and serve.
  7. Fancy scrambled eggs with cheese in bread is ready. Hot, slightly crispy toasted bread, bright yolk, and melted cheese are a win-win combination. Such original scrambled eggs in a new appetizing look will instantly bring everyone to the table!
