Scrambled Eggs with Sausage (in Pita Bread) Instructions

  1. You can use any sausage to your taste. Optionally, mayonnaise can be replaced with sour cream.
I have a rectangular sheet of pita bread with dimensions of 30×40 cm and a small frying pan with a diameter of 22 cm – so the scrambled eggs in the pita bread turned out to be not very large, but rather plump. Grease the pan with vegetable oil and set it to minimum heat.
  2. Put a sheet of pita bread in the pan and grease the middle (by the size of the pan) with mayonnaise. Cut the sausage into thin slices.
  3. We spread about half of the sausage in the middle of the pita bread. Add eggs, salt, and pepper. Put the remaining half of the sausage on top.
Scrambled Eggs with Sausage (in Pita Bread) step 3
  4. Gently wrap the hanging ends of the pita bread inward so that we get an envelope.
Increase the heat a little and cover the pan with a lid. Fry the eggs over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes.
Scrambled Eggs with Sausage (in Pita Bread) step 4
  5. Then gently turn the envelope over and fry for about 5 minutes. Hearty scrambled eggs with sausage are ready. We put it on a plate and serve it to the table. Bon Appetit!
