Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cup semolina (soft wheat)
  • 3 egg (s), separate
  • 0.5 ½ cup sugar
  • 1 packet sauce powder (vanilla)
  • some water
  • 1 liter milk

Instructions

  1. Bring the milk to the boil. Add the sugar and let it simmer, stirring constantly.
  2. Mix the sauce powder with a little water. Stir into the milk together with the egg yolk. Slowly pour in the semolina and let it swell on the switched off hotplate. Let the whole thing cool down a bit. Finally, beat the egg white until stiff and fold in carefully.
