Ingredients

  • 550 g flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt, approx.
  • 1 pack dry yeast
  • 300 g mararine
  • liter ⅛ milk

  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 egg yolk
  • some sesame seeds to sprinkle with

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 ° C.
  2. Mix the flour with salt and yeast, knead with soft margarine and milk at room temperature to form a short crust. Then let the dough rest in a cool place for an hour.
  3. Roll out approx. 2 mm thin on a floured surface and cut into attractive small squares with the pastry wheel.
  4. Line the baking sheet with baking paper, place the pieces of dough on top, brush with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  5. Bake for about 15 minutes. Keep cool in a box. This way the pillows will last for a few weeks.
