Ingredients

  • 4 slices sheep`s cheese or goat`s cheese
  • 1 bag sesame seeds (approx. 250 g)
  • 8 tablespoon honey
  • 1 piece (s) butter (about cm thick)

Instructions

  1. Put the sesame seeds in a soup plate and bread the cheese slices in it. Heat the butter in the pan (highest setting). Fry the cheese slices in the pan on both sides until the sesame seeds turn golden yellow. Turn the temperature down to the second lowest level.
  2. Pour the honey over the slices and let cook, covered, for about 10 minutes. If you want the honey to caramelize, you should brush the slices with honey on both sides and only lower the temperature later, after the honey has caramelized.
