Ingredients

  • shrimp 300 g
  • potatoes 3 pcs.
  • cornflour 4 tablespoons
  • soy sauce 50 ml
  • chicken egg 2 pcs.
  • water 150 ml

Instructions

  1. Peel the shrimp, carefully remove the insides with a toothpick.
  2. Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin slices.
  3. Whisk the egg and one yolk, add ice water, sifted cornmeal. The dough should be like thick sour cream. Beat the egg white separately. Dip the shrimps in corn flour.
  4. Then dip in beaten egg white.
  5. Take two slices of potatoes, squeeze the shrimp between them and dip into the dough.
  6. Gently dip in boiling oil (it should only cover the shrimp) and fry until golden brown.

Recipe Notes

Serve this snack with soy sauce.
