Silver Carp Ukha

The most difficult thing you will have to do to prepare this silver carp dish is to gut and clean the fish. After that, you can consider that the trick is in the bag – it remains just to put everything in turn in the boiling broth.

Ingredients

  • Silver carp – 350 g
  • Potatoes – 3-4 pcs.
  • Tomatoes – 2-3 pcs.
  • Water – 1-1.5 l
  • or Fish broth – 1-1.5 l
  • Dried thyme – 0.25 teaspoon
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon
  • Ground black pepper – 1-2 pinches

Directions

  1. Prepare products for silver carp fish soup.
  2. Peel, wash, and chop the potatoes.
  3. Bring water or broth to a boil. Potatoes cut into wedges are placed in boiling fish broth or water and boil until half cooked (10 minutes).
  4. The fish is cleaned, cut into portions.
  5. Then add the prepared fish carcasses to the potatoes and continue to cook at a low boil for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Cut the tomatoes into slices.
  7. The greens are cut.
  8. At the end of cooking, fresh tomatoes cut into circles, celery (optional), thyme, salt, herbs, and spices are introduced.
  9. Silver carp ukha with tomatoes is ready.
